The growing demand for mobile phone coverage leads to a rapid proliferation of mobile sites (“mobile phone towers”) and encroachment into sensitive urban areas.

With the advent of 5G and the densification of mobile coverage, the deployment footprint becomes smaller and the choice of suitable sites increasingly difficult, in particular for inner cities.

The structures are low-height, nominal 10-15m and multi-purpose. Apart from hosting small cell equipment (including antennas, radio modules and cabling), they offer other value-added features, such as: smart LED lighting; Wi-Fi hot-spot; Integrated street furniture (e.g. bench seating, city clock) and interactive displays and video walls.
