Carlos Tomaz
Managing Director
Carlos is a Fellow of Engineers Australia, past Member da Ordem dos Engenheiros (Portugal) and a Registered Building Practitioner.
With a passion for quality and precise engineering, Carlos has successfully overseen and delivered many communications and technology projects over the years. Along an illustrious career, Carlos has trained and mentored many great engineers. He was also key to developing and keeping many high-level relationships with world leaders seeking to enter, establish presence and grow their Australian market presence.
Carlos is a devoted family man. In his little spare time, he enjoys guitar playing, hobby farming and sports.
Anthony Dunne
Engineering Director
Anthony is a Chartered Engineer, Member of Engineers Australia and a radio communications expert.
Anthony has had a comprehensive engineering career, with international professional assignments in various countries in Europe, across Africa and Australia. As of recent, Anthony has been at the helm of various flagship mining and rail communications projects with top tier mining companies.
Anthony is known for his pragmatic, practical and no-nonsense engineering approach. He has over the years helped mentor various Solcomm engineers and provided valuable technical input and review of its projects.
Brendan Grieve
Chief Information Officer
Brendan is a multi-talented computer scientist with many years of experience in software development, networking and IT consulting.
Brendan has been involved in many start-ups, having at a stage run his own ISP. Brendan has a strong flair for all things technology. He was key to solving complex network design issues and successfully implementing end-to-end solutions with Solcomm projects.
Brendan has a young family that he enjoys spending time with. His favorite hobbies are playing guitar, piano and violin; sound engineering, gaming, acting, hacking, writing, drawing, teaching and electronics.
Daniel Bilt
Construction Superintendent
Daniel is an accomplished Site Supervisor and Builder, with many different qualifications and trade tickets. Daniel has specialised in Telecommunications and Rail Construction, having successfully coordinated and delivered many projects for the carriers, mining and rail.
Daniel’s involvement with Solcomm goes back to its foundation days, when Daniel assisted in creating and delivering an award winning, world first radio communications system for vertical shafts of underground mines. He is also responsible for the manufacture and delivery of the communications solutions developed by Solcomm and its partners.
Daniel is a proud family man and dad. He regularly attends their school functions and soccer training. You are bound to find Daniel tinkering with some complex technology or home construction project in his spare time.
Thomas Tadrowski
Principal GIS Systems
Thomas is a licensed surveyor, mapping specialist and an experienced business professional.
Thomas was the founder of the AEROmetrex Group, a geospatial mapping company providing aerial survey using manned aircrafts, powerful digital cameras and LiDAR sensors.
Thomas was a pioneer in digital aerial geospatial technology, winning the contract with Google Earth and Microsoft Bing for the first geospatial databases of Australian cities.
Thomas was founder and owner of Dronemetrex, an Australian start-up that developed and successfully commercialised worldwide a unique autonomous and accurate drone mapping sytem - the TopDrone 100.
TopoDrone 100 was commercialised in six countries, through a network of resellers and distributers and eventually sold to a leading Australian GIS company.
In his private time, Thomas enjoys playing music and socialising.
